Thank you for responding. It's nice to know that at least one other person out there cares about words - unlike any of my other literate, interesting, and smart friends.

I think "toothsome" is something you should not not add to your nuclear line.
I see ... when pondering "toothsome," EGIT thinks of breakfast cereal and Karma thinks of intimate contact.
I think of the late Melina Mercouri, and also an Italian porn film (that I did not actually see) in which the 'actress' looks up from her 'business', gives a big, buck-toothed grin, and says to the camera "Rigatoni!"
Food on one hand, and sex on the other. It seems that I'm pretty much in the middle of the toothsome spectrum.
is this an elite blog where new people get ignored cuz they're not cool and/or not in on the inside jokes bc you all know each other in the nonblog world? cuz if so,FINE. i still like it.
